March 16, 2026 3:10 PM | Jory Barone (Administrator)

Announcement for the Candidate Forums

The Chevy Chase Community Association and the Shepherd Park Citizens Association will co-host three candidate forums on the following dates: April 7 (Mayor), April 8 (Delegate to the House of Representatives), and April 9 (At-Large Member to the DC Council). The forums will be held in the Frana Auditorium at St. John's College High School (2607 Military Road NW) at 7:00 pm. All candidates in these three races certified by the Board of Elections will be invited to participate in the forums.

DC residents are invited to come watch the forums. Parking is available through the Oregon Avenue entrance, but carpooling is encouraged. No solicitation of non-candidates will be permitted, and no posters or signs will be allowed in the school. Space will be provided to candidates for brochures. For security purposes, bags may be checked prior to entering the school. Snacks will be served.

We hope you will join us to hear what the candidates have to say as we learn their positions on issues important to the city.

Thank you.
